The town also has its central train station, containing an above-ground entry building, drop-off area, bus terminal, and underground parking lot & rails. The trains run underground; therefore, the train terminals and platforms are also underground.
There are two rail lines on this map. There’s the north-south line which generally runs right inside between Highway A14 but deviates east when approaching the town underground. And there’s the eastbound line, which merges underground with the north-south line in both directions on the north side of the train station.
Station Outdoor Area
The above-ground area of the train station is the gateway between the town and access to the underground rails. It has a lush garden around it, an underground parking lot, a drop-off area, and a bus terminal.
Station Above-Ground Indoor Area
The indoor area of the above-ground area of the train station has the bare necessities as an intermediate location. It has a quick shop, front desk, restrooms, and elevator & stairs access to the underground parking lot and station terminal.
Station Underground Terminal Area
The next area below the above-ground area of the train station is the terminal, containing a large central hallway giving access to the platform pairs to access the rails below. It’s equipped with ticket machines, a general corner store, a service desk, and direct hallway access to the dedicated train station and hotel parking lots.
Station Underground Rails & Infrastructure
The lowest point of the train station is the rail platform area, where there are six individual rail lines and three platform pairs, with two rails lying beside each pair. There’s an escalator, stair, and elevator access from each platform to the terminal.
The rails peak over the ground once they go far enough from the town. When above the ground, they run in between the two automobile directions of the highways.
