The town has a vast road network that keeps traffic flowing in and out. Multiple highways and roads cross from/to or through the area.
Highway Infrastructure
As mentioned, two highways (A14 and A3) pass through and from the town respectively. They have various design highlights, which will be elaborated upon below.
Limbo Tunnel
Highway A14 cuts through the town with as little disruption as possible. Because of this, it runs underground for quite a bit of its journey.
It goes under the neighboring river, Musco Village, and road C3, then comes back out as a highway exit.
Town Center Highway Exits
On both sides of the tunnel, there are highway exits from A14. On the north side, the highway goes above the intersecting road, whereas on the south side, it goes below since it comes out of the tunnel directly. At both exits, there is an underground pedestrian crossing.
Outskirts Highway Exits
The highway exits in the outskirts are quite different. They take up far more space and have the rails coming up on them or going directly under the crossing road.
Town Entrances/Exits
Various highway and road entrances lead into the town. Highway A14 crosses inwards on the north and south sides, and A3 crosses on the east side. There are also two other roads crossing in with elegant scenery.
South Highway Entrance
This is the most iconic of all road entrances. Highway A14 crosses through two neighboring tall hills, with aligned fountains and lit vine walls between them.
Upon crossing both hills, there’s a massive “Welcome” and “Goodbye” bush sign that incomers and out-goers come across, along with a lush garden surrounding the area.
South Roadway Entrances
Two roads, namely C3 and C98 cross into the town area in the south area. Both have their unique entrance designs as well. Road C3 crosses along the coast, whereas road C98 crosses further inland.
East Highway Entrance
Highway A3 starts from the town and heads east, therefore crossing the town border. Its entrance doesn’t have much design to offer, but it’s still worth showing 🙂
North Highway Entrance
Another iconic road entrance is the northern crossing of Highway A14 into the town, having only one hill to pass through, unlike the south crossing.
It starts with a long row of fountains along the highway with robust trees around them. Upon crossing the Gateway tunnel there’s also the same “Welcome” and “Goodbye” bush sign, with unique vegetation around it.
