The two lower floors make up the main lobby of the building. Two bridged entrances enter the building on the 1st floor. Near each entrance, there’s a front (reception) desk, each with a distinct design. Both floors have various components and attractions, presented below.
Open Areas
Each part of the hotel has its distinct open area, with unique designs and common areas. Both have their front desks, but aside from that, they have their distinct attractions.
Part 1 has a large circular fountain, quick shop, balcony bar, and the neighboring Loxahatchee restaurant. Part 2 has a small patio, a “fun tunnel” for the kiddos, a “book bunk” (a small area to sit, read, or chill), and neighboring eating areas (including Musco’s bar and restaurant).
Loxahatchee Restaurant and Bar (in Part 1)
This is a subtropical-themed indoor restaurant situated in the Part 1 lobby area. With a warm-colored orange-ish theme, it’s intended to give a warm feel to its customers.
It has an interior bar, but also one just outside its 2nd-floor entrance meant to also serve as a local cafe.
Indoor Hotel Pool and Wateries (in Part 1)
The lobby has an indoor pool area containing various attractions. It has the main pool (suitable for short diving), a hot spa for those who want to relax, and a kid’s pool for the kiddos (of course :D). There are also various chairs & beds scattered around and a robust bathroom area to fit everyone’s needs.
This area had a massive renovation in 2016 since its original design was far less pleasant. You can find its story on the 2nd build history page!
Hotel Dining Area (in Part 2)
The lobby also has a dining area intended to be free for all guests, with its own bar, dancing stage (yes :)), and buffet areas.
Near it is a mid-sized kitchen for this dining area and Musco’s Bar and Restaurant, which is located just above.
Musco’s Bar and Restaurant (in Part 2)
This is the restaurant counterpart for Part 2. It also contains an exterior & interior bar and the restaurant itself. Its design is quite different as the area is more spread out and doesn’t have any custom wall coloring.
Fun fact: the owner of the restaurant is Musco indeed, and he lives in a large house near the neighboring river.
Misc. Areas of Lobby (both parts)
The elevator, hallway, and other room designs are worth presenting too. Various screenshots of them are shown below!
